You fly from the left seat with a Certified Flight Instructor on a second set of controls beside you. It is a real first lesson — the time is loggable — and nothing is owed afterwards.

First solo

The flight every pilot remembers: three trips around the pattern with the right seat empty. Your instructor decides when, and they do not send you before you are ready.

Cross-country
